Background: El Ninja is a tenth degree black belt who was discovered by President Tukre while watching a fighting competition. He was subsequently asked to join Next Phase Wrestling. His debut against Dave "Treehugger" Willis at Unnatural Disaster 2000 earned him not only an impressive victory, but the NPW Lightheavyweight Championship. His career in NPW has been just as monumentous, with title reigns with both the Vermilion County and All Vermilion County Tag Team Titles. His wins in singles competition has included beating hardcore legend Omega in a Best of 3 Falls Match at Homecoming Bash 2000 and Crisis at 2002: A Wrestling Oddity. His feud with fellow masked wrestler Yashi Torymoto over the course of 2001 culminated in a legendary battle in which El Ninja came out on top. The two competitors soon joined forces thereafter to become a formidable tag team.
