![]() Background: Young Jon Tomson, a superstar in the high school wrestling circuit here in East Central Illinois, debuted at Manor Mayhem in hopes of getting a head start in his professional career. It was a futile effort, as Tomson continued to get beaten in NPW competition. Then, a chance encounter with Wildkat led to his most famous role to date: a member of the infamous Junior Varsity Club. The partnership was to benefit both their careers, but only really helped to serve Wildkat's, as he succeeded in winning matches thanks to Tomson's interference. When Tomson no longer became more of a hindrance than a help he was thrown to the wayside like yesterday's news. Tomson took a temporary hiatus from Next Phase Wrestling only to return and shock fans in 2003 by allying himself with Cana...er, Russian wrestler Ivan Ruskie. The duo intends to keep perestroika alive in NPW.
