Babu debuted for NPW at Unnatural Disaster 2000, losing with Crisis to the Hardcore Hellraisers in a DCW exhibition match. He then resurfaced at King of Extreme '02, even making it to the 2nd round. The Irate Iranian has faired similarly in past King of Extreme tournaments, participating in every one. Perhaps the Intense Aayatolla's crowning achievement came at DCW's Wrasslefest '99 when he won the DCW Tilton Championship in a 3-way dance against Rogue and Nomad.
