Background: The Tilton Tangler started his career in Danville Championship Wrestling (www.dcw.freehosting.net) and was 1/2 of the first ever DCW Tag Team Champions by election. What he lacks in wrestling skill and ring psychology he makes up for in charisma and tag team savvy. While in the original DCW, he and Dirty Al won the tag championships 3 times and came out on top in their memorable feud against the Powerhouse Preppies. When Dirty Al left DCW for Wisconsin's Cow Country Invasion, the Tangler struggled trying to win back the tag team championships with various partners like Bad Omen and Silver Bullet. Although lovable and a fan favorite in DCW, Tilton turned rogue upon his entry into Next Phase Wrestling at Next Event 2000, alligning himself with Wild Bill as the Backyard Brawlers. This would prove to be a wise career move, as the pairing de-throwned Ultimate as NPW's best tag team, winning the NPW tag championship, unifying the NPW and DCW tag championships (NPW All Vermilion Tag Team Championship), and winning the 1st annual Tag Team Twister in the process. In early 2002, Wild Bill turned on him to venture into singles competition. With the Backyard Brawlers no more, the Tangler looks to forever fight for the tag championship with fellow Dirtleg Dirty Al.
