![]() Are
you
kidding
me?
Was that the Hardcore Hellraisers I saw outside the Brummett Arena and Livestock Center during the finals of the King of Extreme tournament? If you went back in time two months ago and told "Sweet" Jimmy D. he'd commit arson on a coffin with a human life inside it, what do you think he would've said? He'd most likely say something like he'd rather burn people in the ring with his wrestling skills. I'm not so sure what it is exactly that's burning up "Sweet" Jim inside and why he would put the life of Omega at risk, but I'm sure we'll find out the whole story soon enough. He's definitely frustrated about NPW seeming to have potential to have a longer life than DCW did. But why not just be apart of something great?
And where's Wildkat fit in to all of this? Sure, he was a DCW mainstay, but the 3 Kings aren't really treating him like a true member. Not sure why, Wildkat did very well in the hardcore tournament, outlasting Super Tito Jr. in 3 falls and Dare Devil in Dare Devil's style of match before succumbing to Omega in that trunk match that involved lots of running.
The rest of the show wasn't quite as scary as the ending of the finals. Sure was lots of fun though.
I'm sorry I didn't get to see The Doctor of Wrestling. I'll see him soon enough.
Chilly McFreeze seems to have run his course already. Thanks to Primal Instinct for putting a hault to that tirade. Don't expect to see the stone cold ripoff anytime soon.
Hooray for blood! It was good to see Hoghead Hellspawn and Babu get "gigged." We haven't seen "juice" in NPW for quite some time. Speaking of Babu, let's hope we never have to see him try and work a greco roman style match again. He's much better off running around hitting people with things.
I'm sorry I missed the Zero/Dare Devil/Jade Shocker match. You can only expect fun, interesting things from those 3.
And congratulations to Wild Bill, who proved to a certain former promoter that light heavy weights are capable of main eventing in Next Phase Wrestling. Even though he was spoon fed his way into the semi-finals, beating Primal Instinct in a last man standing match and then Omega in the finals are tasks worthy of the King of Extreme. Wild Bill now joins Zero and "Sweet" Jimmy D. as having that title in the history book of Danville wrestling.
