![]() Yo yo yo it's Mick Gene just two days after the very long, very cold, but very fun and very important Homecoming Bash '03. We've got ourselves a new Unified Hardcore champion in Sparky, who's not a hardcore wrestler in the sense of blood and weapons, but when it comes to having heart, guts and desire, he's hardcore to the bone.
I forsee a rematch between Dare Devil and Sparky for the Unified title fairly soon for two reasons. One, Dare Devil attacked Sparky following the match, putting a bad taste in the mouth of the volunteer firefighter. Two, you have to admit, Dare Devil had a more strenuous match with El Ninja and Yashi Torymoto than Sparky had with Jon Tomson. You could say Sparky was the fresher of the two, but Dare Devil asked for it and did he ever receive. Here's hoping Sparky and Yashi Torymoto have a great match November 9th.
Big Smith is back. Oh yes, Big Smith is back...and Wild Bill better be worried. Smith isn't gonna take being put out of Next Phase Wrestling lightly and he showed his intentions at the end of Homecoming Bash. Schmemtner's putting Dare Devil in Smith's path November 9th to earn a spot against Wild Bill. Dare Devil and his new attitude will have no problem with causing the former Danville Wing more grief and frustration. Wild Bill can't focus all his defense toward Smith either. He's got the mighty Timmy on November 9th, a man he's never pinned and didn't fare too well against during the main event at Homecoming Bash.
Although he appeared to be in no condition to continue, Mars says he's ready for "Sweet" Jimmy D. November 9th. He's requested a 2 out of 3 falls match, with a different stipulation to each fall. Contractually, Mars will get what he wants, but with a bum wing, anything he chooses can fall right into the hands of the DCW Champion.
Zero was in Washington DC during Homecoming Bash and I have yet to confirm his appearance for November 9th. If he's able to attend, he'll be in for a long night of wrestling. First he's scheduled for the Wayne Hewes Invitational, whatever that is. I'm sure it'll include at least the four current members of the Colt League. Then, if Zero survives, he's got Wildkat in the shoot style match that was planned for Homecoming Bash. How that will differ from a regular wrestling match, I'm anxious to see. It seems as if Wildkat's very prepared.
After a brief time off to regroup, the Shockers have begun their climb back up the tag team ladder. If Jade and Wayne are able to knock off Team Hell November 9th, they'll surely prove themselves to be back into the tag title race.
Someone at the video store today bought the only movie with Zara Whites on the cover. The babe who Mr. North totally drenched in Nurse Nancy is out of my sight. How sad. Hey look, that ad box has Brittney Sky on the cover...ah yes. That'll soothe my jangled nerves.
