Carnage in the cold was just that. Audience members huddled by kerosine heaters. I even saw Bruiser Dody and El Ninja bundle up and warm up by the fume spitting heat torpedos.

Zero leaving the 3 Kings has put a dent in the group that showed to be more of a totalling head on crash at this show. "Sweet" Jimmy D. was pinned by Dare Devil and Wildkat squeaked away with the Unified Hardcore Championship from a controversial technicality. Since El Ninja pinned the Unified Hardcore Champion, he has a solid case as to why he should get a rematch. But for now, with Big Smith, despite being a late entrant, outlasting 8 other NPW wrestlers in the battle royal to become the #1 contender for Wildkat's title, El Ninja's hopes for once again holding gold are put on the back burner. El Ninja won't be sitting in limbo while waiting for his shot, however; he's got some business to tend to with the Tilton Tangler. These two have been giving each other trouble for the past few shows. The Tangler maintains he's innocent and that El Tinador caused this whole rivalry. I'd like to see what excuse he comes up with to explain costing El Ninja the Unified Hardcore championship.

There's not quite as much to say about the Danville Championship situation. With Zero helping Dare Devil earn a title shot next show by pinning Jimmy D., surely we'll see Zero vs. Jimmy D. soon, no matter what ends up happening between the Danville Champion and Dare Devil.

I don't remember Jimmy D. ever pulling out such dramatics when Omega was around. He seemed pretty vocal and brave about downplaying Omega's legacy the instant the franchise player was gone.

Boy, that triple threat match sure was a mess. I guess I shouldn't ask for anything else when you've got Benson and Dody involved. The Shockers and Hammerfist seemed to try to turn the brawl into a wrestling match. Apparently Wayne and Jade succeeded in the deal by winning the match and getting the attention of guest referee and 1/2 of the tag team champions T-Money.

You gotta like the combining of Xcelerator with Ivan Ruskie. Ruskie knows his wrestling won't get him far in NPW, but he saw a fellow countryman with the skills to go as far as he wants. El Rosebud gave a good fight and I thought he had Xcelerator with the sunset flip, but it's gonna take something even more special to take down this Russian with an agenda.

As Hoghead Hellspawn mentioned in his post show interviews, the Scarlet Spider can take a beating. The Tilton Tangler gave him his best stuff, but got over confident when he should have sealed the deal. The Spider's victory in the certain jerker lead the way for all the former EBW stars combining to go 4-0 on the day.

I wish everyone a good month until the next show. I plan to attend FUW's Affies, see Zero get lit up by the Road Warriors on Saturday the 25th (work pending) and view Serenita just jiggling and bouncing away.
