Mick Gene here, back with part 2 of the post-Carnage in the Cold '04 review.
The biggest and latest news in Next Phase Wrestling is we're getting a new
venue.  The Brummett Arena and Livestock Center was sold.  The new venue is also
owned by the Brummetts and isn't far away from the previous one.  We just don't
have a name for it yet.

Wayne Shocker was originally scheduled to wrestle Baron Von Strapp, but out of a
touch of brotherly love, he handed the match to Jade for a farewell match.
You'll recall Wayne defeated Jade in January in a loser leaves town match.  Jade
looked as impressive as ever, leaving NPW on a good note.  Of course, how many
retirement stipulations stay honored in the world or wrestling?  Jade has done
some smooth talkin' with Commisioner Schmemtner and will have a match with El
Ninja at Unnatural Disaster.  If Jade wins, he's back in NPW.

T-Money settled the score with Old School McGee, proving he was the funkier of
the duo all along.  However, his win pits him against "Longhorn" Dan Benson at
Unnatural Disaster.  T-Money has several wins over Benson in past tag matches,
but that was when Money was in his prime and Benson was just getting started.
Since then, Benson's been training hard and means business.

The Omega Men got their first victory as a team over the very random pairing of
El Tinador and Dimebag Davey.  This match was originally scheduled to be an
8-man tag, but more vehicle trouble caused the odd match up.  In actuality, the
original line up had Davey and Tinador on opposite sides.  This wasn't made all
that clear at the show, but the Omega Men victory perked Schmemtner's ears and
he's allowed Alpha and Dre-Kahn to restart their mission to bring back Omega.
And for the record, this match wasn't nearly as bad as Larry Dash will make it
out to be.

You heard it here first.  When Ivan Ruski babbled about a big return after his
battle royal victory, he was referring to the return of X-Celerator.  The
Russian monster left NPW after picking up some key victories last fall, meaning
the parastroika could very well start up again.

Mars' opponent for Unnatural Disaster has been confirmed.  It will be The
Scarlet Spider in a non-title match.  Win or lose, this will be a test where
Spider will need to put in a solid performance to get back to where he was
before leaving NPW last fall.

Finally, the date of Unnatural Disaster event may change to Sunday March 21st.
We understand T-Money's been booked to speak at a church on the 28th.  You may
not feel this is reason enough to change the show date, but a lot of us really
want to see Benson grind him up.

My predictions for Wrestlemania 20:

1.  Eddy over Angle.
2.  Cena over Big Show.
3.  Taker over Kane.
4.  HHH over Benoit and Michaels.
5.  Chavo over Rey.
6.  Lesnar over Goldberg.
And the match that should happen but won't, Savage over Hogan.

Reporting for NPW, I'm Mick Gene.
