I finally got around to watching what Joey the King could provide of Unnatural Disaster '03. Yes the show did take place in March. Yes I am writing this in May. That's just the way it goes sometimes.

I'm not sure what I was talking about in "my review" of the show, because in the Events section I have it written that Dare Devil wrestled Scarlet Spider. Now, I wasn't there for this match so perhaps it did happen. But on the tape Joey gave me, Dare Devil wrestles Wildkat and beats him for the Unified Championship. It was weird because Wildkat pinned Dare Devil, so Dare Devil accuses Wildkat of cheating, and the match restarts???? I didn't see Wildkat agree to let the match continue and, as the saying goes in wrestling, the ref can't call what he can't see.

The bright side of the Dare Devil/Wildkat match were the fun spots like Dare Devil using a hard hat to do a diving top rope headbutt. Dare Devil went to the top rope a lot in the match and found himself kissing canvas on more than one occasion. It's no wonder Wildkat was able to pin him in a hardcore match, even if the pin was later waived off.

Larry Dash and Commisioner Schmemtner keeping the mic away from Wildkat was absolutely hysterical. Granted, Wildkat's words probably would've shed some light on the whole ordeal, but the constant giggling over the situation was entertainment enough for now. Soon though, we're gonna need some answers. Wildkat's been shipped off to the South for a few months, so maybe I should be happy we at least don't seemingly need to strip Wildkat of the Unified Hardcore Championship.

The other two matches on the tape were El Ninja's match with Tilton Tangler and Wildkat's first encounter with Dr. Professenstein. Both were short and got their points across, although Wildkat cutting a promo after his victory over the Baron's Monstrousity would've been appropriate given the context. Oh well, we got Wildkat claiming he wanted to share his feelings. What a douchbag.

Lastly, it was pretty surreal seeing Accelerator's last promo. Unfortunately, the match was not on the tape, nor was anything else. But you could see in Ivan Ruski's communist eyes that he knew he had NPW's next big star ready to run roughshod. Now Ivan has absolutely nothing. I hear the BBQ's pretty good in Texas.

So I didn't get to see anymore of the show, unless you count Dash with a plunger on his head. That was funny. Hopefully June 8th, I can get the information more promtly.

For the love of God I love Star E. Night. Slap, slap, push, push, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, can't stop shooting until it's all glazed.
