It's pretty obvious lately that I'm too busy (or lazy take your pick) to sit down and type out of column of NPW's happenings. I'll touch on a few situations that are crossing my mind.

Dare Devil was in pain after landing on his head on that dropsault during his match with Wayne Shocker at Heatstroke, but it won't cause him to miss his 3-way for the NPW Championship against X-Celerator and Scarlet Spider at Farmland Fallout.

Alpha's shoulder was seriously bothering him after the tabletop suplex he took from Wild Bill during their match at Heatstroke. Alpha will probably miss action at Farmland Fallout. If he does wrestle, he'll tag team with Dracon, but Dracon is scheduled for singles action against Wayne Shocker. And once again, Wild Bill has not signed back with NPW. It was great to have him there though.

Congratulations are in order to Wayne Shocker for winning the 2005 King of Extreme tournament. He's come a long way from his "Jade's brother" persona he garnered upon entry in Next Phase Wrestling. Alpha showed his allegiance was with Dracon during the tournament as the Alpha Males officially disbanded. This reporter always felt it was "no titles, no team" with the Alpha Males. Both Shocker and Dracon had solid showings at Heatstroke and will do battle one on one at Farmland Fallout.

"Longhorn" Dan Benson and Mars were scheduled to go at it once and for all at Heatstroke. Both wrestlers were injured from their matches at King of Extreme, so both declined to wrestle since his opponent wouldn't be 100%. These two want the best from each other despite their hatrid. We plan to see them at their best in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the DCW Championship at Farmland Fallout.

In my next column due out by Farmland Fallout Sunday September 18th, I'll discuss the All-Vermilion Tag Team and Unified Hardcore Championship situations, plus some favorite moments from all shows Tag Team Twister to present.

For now, I'm Mick Gene.
